    Slightly longer flight times.

Plus when you get to aerobatics you won't suffer air bubles getting through to the engine and causing issues helps keep the engine running smoother overall.

Header tank catches all the airbubles from the main tank and keeps the fuel flow nice and air free basically.

Its also a decent fuel gauge too.

Yes fuel gauge is right, even if you dont see the main tank empty and the header starting to empty, you can always hear the note of the engine change when its pulling from the header instead of the main.

when the engine pulls the last bit out of the main tank, and moves on to the header the mixure gets slightly richer.

Using a header makes it easy to see that you still have fuel - its easy to see the header starting to empty. the header starting to empty is an immediate indication of a problem such as a split fuel line in the main tank so that little hover and side on to look in the header at the start of each flight is a good move!
