Whack a fifty in there, they call it a hot dog fifty cos its grossly overpowered. A redline will suit your need perfectly. Youll need a 50 fan and engine mount too and hange the pinion to the 50 one but clutch should be ok.Servos futaba 3050 all round except tail, 401 gyro ad matching servo. Nhp razor blades all roud and tt kermit paddles. and run it on decent 30% fuel and if that wont 3d theres summat wrong. You will have to adjust mixing arms and linkages to get equal pich tho aim for +-10 minimum and thatll be a good starting point and id also suggest a good governor, revlock, align or similar. Oh you may also need to run a regulated power system if your gonna hammer it aswell

its not slowits just that with a 30 you have to be very carefulwith pitch so as to not kill head speed, there more flighty than a fifty if setup corectly

            Steelie ,

If the 30v2 takes a 50 engine why do they offer a 50 upgrade kit for the 30 v2 ??

That's basic sports flying mate and as quoted by colin n the Raptor 30 will do the whole hog bog standard so long as half decent blades are fitted.
