That's a very odd combination of parts you have there

You have 2 regulators already, the Align 2-in-1 and the one built into the AR7100R.

The AR7100R requires a minimum 6V input but it seems like you are saying you are powering it from the 5.8V output of the 2-In-1?

You are running 6V servos apparently from either a 5.8V or 5.2V supply depending on where everything is plugged in.

The AR7100R is a great device for a fly-bar heli when powered directly with a 2S lipo, I wouldn't use it with a FBL heli which judging from the 3GX I assume is the case?

So is the aim to end up with an onboard glow driver & governor, along with the 3GX, or is the onboard glow driver negotiable?

      Hey Buddy.

      What governor are you running?

Personally I'd lose the 2-in-1, sadly they are just not up to the job of powering todays FBL systems, especially the 3GX which is more demanding than say a Vbar for example.

The AR7100R, without looking at it's specs I doubt it would be any greater than the 2-in-1, so again echoing Mark above, I'd probably loose this.

Question, why not run the governor in the 3GX? It does work quite well from what I've seen, combine this with a pair of satellite receivers plugged direct into the 3GX and give it some decent power supply and you'll have a much neater setup.

A good regulator for the 3GX is the CC BEC PRO, or another idea go straight 2s LiFe pack, these output 6.6 volts when charged so require no step down with the standard Align servos and again will cut down on additional items. Make yourself up a nice wiring harness connecting this LiFe to 3GX, an XT60 to 2 or 3 servo style plugs and you have a good setup.

thanx folks yes i now its an odd setup it just sort off whent that way and as i looked their seemed to be alot of people flying with this sort of setup but im gonna take your advice scrap the lot go with the liFe battery ive got the sats already on ar7100r 3gx is setup so i wouldnt touch that do you think i could then use a volt drop down to the futaba tail servo it runs 4.8 v and do you know if theirs anyway to monitor the battery ive been told they read 6.6 constantly prehaps if i run up a drawing with everything in you would take a look save me adding to my giant store of unusable parts ...thanx
