Finished new fus over Easter, but the days picked to test turned out to be the worst weather wise. So this weekend was devoted to getting it in the air. Sat was a bit of a breezy, overcast and temps around the 13C mark, but I was determined to see the model in the air. Did a range check, fired up the TT70 and then took a deep breath. Put it into a hover and what a pleasure. It just sat there solid as anything. Got a few pics and then tested the flight characteristics. The first thing I noticed was the rudder response was not as snappy as before and it needed that little extra pitch to slow the descent. Went out again on Sunday. The weather was warmer and sunnier, 18C, but with more wind. The heli handled it fine. Really pleased with the body. Looks awesome in the air.
