I have recently discovered a strange sound from my Raptor 30.
On loading the head by hovering or climbing I get a high frequency squeak that I can only best describe as a "chirrupping or squeaking" sound a bit like a high frequency bird sound. Don't laugh...it's the only way I can describe it
lol
On losing height, and unloading the mast/head it goes away. Hover, climb it comes back.
I'm guessing main bearings maybe a bit dry or on their way out, but someone must have had this before. I've not tried a bit of lube on the bearings as I didn't get any flying in last weekend, but what do you think?
Clean, sensible answers only please
Cheers
David
