Just dailing in my N9 in after upgrading to a cline carb on my 91HZ and Bonta high rate mixing arms on the head. Very happy with the performance so far. Loads of power and only 65 degrees on the head.

Without a doubt (in my mind) the best looking 90 out there at the moment.
Have been so tempted a couple of times, but the lure of the 700 got me first

You should give one a go if you get a chance. The 2nd hand market in these is very good. I actually got to fly a 700 for the first time today while I helped a mate out with an engine break-in. Good straight line speed, turns on a dime and overall good impression.Originally posted by Kwickkwack View PostWithout a doubt (in my mind) the best looking 90 out there at the moment.

The 700 was only on it's third tank on a new HZ so HS was conservative. Tracking was good but not as defined as the N9. The 700 was running Align paddles and mains. I'm running Rotortech paddles and 710 stick bangers although I have run super stubs which made her pitchy in FFF, this all using 4mm flybar conversion with the longer 700 flybar.
I will say that the N9 is quite capable of close in 3D, I've seen Jamie tiktok a couple feet off the deck with his N9 and handles. Interestingly I see from all the vids of the new Align flybarless systems that the pros seem to be including more big air moves in their routines which the N9 excels at, with virtical penitration only equilled by FBL helis. Could it be that with the increasing popularity of FBL, big air may be back in fashion?
