    title says it all which "heavy Duty" servo horns are you using

    ive got three 9255's to put in

    3 x 9255s!!!! That's an awful lot of servo power. What are you putting them in? A full size heli?

    Doh - just realised, a Synergy obviously!

      the large futaba disks are the ones. allows full 90deg control and they are a bit thicker than the standard horns.

            they really dont want those servos to come out of that heli do they....

              Those are not holding the servos in they are supports for the output shaft.

                the large futaba disks are great too.

                for the 50s i just use the small disks cut to HD horn size. allows you to get the servo spot on 90

                  I've used the Std 4 and 6 star Futaba Arms, they work fine in flight, so far as I can tell.

                  In a crash some of the arms have broken, but I would rather the arm breaks than the servo !!
