is it possible to remove the one way bearing from the clutch shoe.
Ive just checked it before it goes up for sale and the one way has been demolished, ive put it in the oven but to no avail, is it easier to just buy a new clutch.

save the heart ache and the time and just buy a new clutch, heard it a royal pain in the ass to get the new one in without damaging the bearing

Heat it up, mine dropped out the Velo last time.

Failing that, put a big socket behind the OWB and on the otherside use a socket to drive out the One Way bearing.

Cheers pete, thought that would be the case. The one way is £15 and a new clutch+bearing is £20 mmmm lol.

Cheers Paul, as I said i'll take the shortcut and save me the aggro, i've spent hours removing bearings and putting new in so it makes sense in this case just buying a new clutch and including the old one with the airframe.

Are you sure Dave mate. I may take you up on the offer, ill buy a new one anyway. £5 extra isn't a lot. To be honest I'd rather pay £20 for a new clutch than £15 for a bearing :O.

Use the Outrage Velo 50 OWB in the clutch, exactly the same size.

Just checked that and it is only £12. I know your pretty certain it'l fit and Ill take your word it wont need any mods to fit .

                  Is this is here:
                  R50N954-SS Clutch Assembly\

EDIT: unless I purchase just the one way and pass them both on to WaveyDavey to fit and i'll give him some beer tokens.
This one way matches the exact dimensions of the n5 one way:

although it says its for the 550?

have tried and failed, getting it out is one thing, putting the new one in is another story. By all accounts you need an arbour press.

I tried for about 10 mins-ish, the entire centre of the one way came out, in pieces, but the outer case wouldn't even budge so posted here. I don't normally give up on these things but I could tell this was going to be a biatch to remove.
