N5 Throttle Link

Am I being a complete muppet. I couldn't get equal end point adjustment the way the manual shows the throttle linkage, over/under. So after having a look at others I decided to change it so that it was over/over. I set the link so that it was the same dimension as centre throttle arm to centre of servo arm and put the ball out at 17mm. Made sure the linkage was 90 degrees at centre open and sat back to pat myself on the shoulder. But, i can't get the endpoints the same again, I've got 150% on the top and 100% on the bottom (DX7). Anyone got any ideas, coz it's got me stumped.

Do you mean you have mid stick when fitting the horn ?? I would fit the horn low stick then adjust accordingly. But I could be wrong ??

No I go as you said above 50 % and then make sure the linkage is parallel and 90 degrees with the throttle servo in mid position.

Not really sure. But is the horn and the throttle link parallel with each other ?? Eg like this /----/ when closed for example then \----\ when open ???

Mine's as per the manual, not sure how far out the balls are but my end points where pretty much smack on. I'll have a butchers and let ya know later.

Had a look at mine, seems I changed it to under/under. 120mm rod length, ball on servo arm is 17mm from middle and outer hole on the 55 throttle arm. This makes the thottle arm ball nearer in than the servo arm ball but it gives complete travel with 50% throttle at mid stick.

Mines almost the same, over/over though, and my endpoints on my DSX9 are 107% and 106%
