It would be great if some of the new parts would fit the existing N5. I love the look of those carbon frames, and I much prefer a TT instead of the belt.Henseleit TDR V-Bar x2

I'm sure I read that the parts will be interchangeable to allow you to pick and choose if you want by of the new parts on your original N5
Personally I loved the belt on the N5. Simple and effective. It never ever gave me any trouble, rarely did I ever have to adjust it, and I can't say it noticeably took any power in the auto. It is also way more robust than any TT!Comment

I am 99.9% sure that Matt has said that the new and modified parts that are for the N5C will be a direct fit for the Standard N5 so you can pick and choose your parts if you so wish, so if you prefer TT over belt you should be able to upgrade to a TT drive. Same for the frames, and other modified parts although most seem to be more of weight saving.
Personally the N5 has restored my faith in belts!, never been a fan of them and if you would have asked me 12 months ago which I would have preferred it would have been TT every time but the belt drive on the N5 performs that good that I wouldn't hesitate at picking the belt drive again! Would like another N5 and very tempted by the E6!!Thanks!
