I have to agree, the original prototype canopy does look pretty good.

I know some don't like the kit canopy but i actually do, its nice and simple and supprising visible in the air, good contrast of colours.

I can highly recommend Buckers! Awesome paintwork and very reasonable price!

I love the original lid, like Rossco says, its really good to see in the air. But I am a sucker for a nice canopy though. My next drunken purchase I think!

Yeah I realy like the supplied canopy as for visability im still waiting for the right weather fingers crossed for this weekend.

Always nice to have a special canopy especialy a 1 off.

I've really struggled with orientation of the standard canopy in our dark winter days, so I'm looking to get one with either a smaller black 'windscreen' section, or where the windscreen isn't black - sorry but whoever decided that black was a good colour for orientation?

One of the topics I teach in my 3D school is that the canopy is a very small part of orientation. The main focus for orientation and precision should be rotor blades and tail boom. If you are focusing too much on the canopy you are not seeing the angle of the rotor disk and positioning of the tail. This little tip has opened doors for many pilots, I hope it does the same for you guys as well. Don't get me wrong, a nice bright canopy can help in the early stages but eventually you will not even need a canopy to fly.

Hav to agrre there, my old n9 canopy was a dark red and black colour, sometimes is goes black in certain light, my ely q 90 is green and black, blends with the grass nice and the 50 is black and red again

But as all of us heli flyers are tarts we all like a good looking canopy to look at
