MartinH, formerly known as Satch recently added the Beast and N5 flybarless head to his N5, send him a pm. Actually come to think about it I would like to know as joining the N5 club myself in a few weeks.

At the moment, even with limited flys I would give you a confident YES.

It adds whats there already to the 'awesomeness' 'amazingness' of the n5. It's difficult trying not to sound like a fan boy but I am excited to get it going proper in the summer.

One thing I really do like about the FBL is that, even with an OS50 in there, at Andys flyin I was tick tocking for what seemed ages without it bogging. I felt like I could mix the pitch up a little and vary the way it t/tocked.

I was well impressed but also how very straight and precise it flew. I could confidently come about a foot of the ground inverted and let go of the controls. When I was inverted I could'nt believe how it sat there.

A lot of people say the v-bar is better than the Beastx, which might be true. So just think how well it will fly with one of them taped to the machine.

For mounting I go above the servo tray.

        It is Nick's old n5

Martin, I don't recall issuing you a license to use the word "awesomeness" in relation to the N5

Tom I am very sorry. I was going to put in brackets something like 'sorry Tom B' or 'in the words of Tom B' etc etc. I felt a bit nervous using that word, had a feeling someone would say something .

With respect I will change it now

Martin, now you know why I couldn't keep the N5 at the Byley club, it was intimidated by all that 'awesomeness', lol

Glad to hear the N5 is getting plenty of air time and that your enjoying it

I'm about to have a bit of in the words of Paddy McGuiness "N5 love" allbeit with a set of flappy paddles for now. Can't wait, I haven't outgrown the 600, it's far better than I will ever be but so looking forward to something new.
