Just finished my build and looking forward to a test fly
Spooled up in my back garden and it sounded great! nice, tight, and smooth just how I like it

NB. Must change those skids, nearly went over twice

Ha! I'm sure in that PM you sent me you said it would take a while to get all the gear together to get it in the air! Less than 2 weeks to gether, build and test - I'm impressed!

I'm running the Outrage gear right now.... it irritates me a bit as you could imagine but better than tipping over all the time. The new mold is almost done, I'm pretty excited about it!!

                          Good to know Matt, thanks!

Personally, I didn't have an issue with the stock skids, but that said, after they bit the dust from an unrelated crash, I drilled out some 600 ones and fitted those instead. I didn't do this because of the flying side of the narrow skids, it was purely because of the skid clip spacing in the van that transports the helis around the country

Are the new skids a more "standard" width?

                          Cheers,
                          Rob

I've got N9 skids fitted to mine. Fit straight in as the frame spacing is the same on both the N9 and N5.
