Synergy N5 FBL Head soon

This is the head that Matt Botos is testing, and should soon be released for the N5. They say it should also fit 'other' 50 size machines as well.

I was speaking to someone last week and yes they are going to be universal

Might look a bit funny on a weedy slim machine though if its like the Synergy FB head as it so big and solid it will look all head lol.

Excellent!!!.....I've been waiting for some news on the FBL Head!

My N5 is awesome as it is in stock FB Setup, Both Cyclic and Pitch are insane!!

Although, with all the good reports on the BeastX i have been thinking of giving it a dabble!

The FBL Head is unmistakably Synergy, Chunky and Simple!!...The CNC house Synergy is using now is Top Notch! the quality of the parts is excellent.

I would prefer to have the Inner-Swash Locking collar and arms to be part of the main hub for a simpler,cleaner look!

That's the very fellow!!

The FBH/Bonta FBL head is one of the best looking and made heads out there!!

There is also the new Rigid-Core FBL Head from Avant which follows this design of incorporating the swash locking arms into the main hub.

I agree, but also one of the most expensive. For that kind of money I'd sooner buy one of the (cheaper) i2 RC flybarless heads -only available for a TRex500 or 600 size I think but looks like the range is expanding.

I Have just recieved this head and its sitting on my desk and its going onto my machine next week :-)
I must say the finish is of very high quality and looks very nice

The head has 3 different bolt holes for attaching the head so it will be for use with a multitude of machines and has blade grip arms that are very big indeed...

It does have 2 x pinch bolts as well to pinch the head to the mainshaft as well as the main headblock bolt, and the main grips have been made lighter with two cut outs

I have the SG Vibe FBL head on my N9.



Thus far its very sweet - I played around with the head settings at the RCHA flying and looking forward to the next flight. The only downside to fit the N9 I had to drill out the hole in the mast to take an M4 bolt. Also They could raise the swash locking arms about 1cm upwards to give more mast to work with.

I think the "sale" is more or less a permanent fixture on that website so the price is really $296.
