Guys,
When I first flew the N5 to be honest I wasn't that impressed - yes it tracked well and was very stable, but to be honest the roll and flip rate didn't impress me and it all felt a bit slow.
Now I've had a dozen or so flights, I'm starting to love it. The big difference to me has been the engine has really started to produce some power, and I have cranked the head speed up.
Now the cyclics are fast, she rolls very axially indeed, flips really tight etc.. are now all great (still getting my timing right).
Current comments would be:
1) Have leaned out the mid needle some, this made a big difference - now about 1 1/2 on high and 1 1/4 on mid.
2) One way has locked now twice, but free'd after landing - still a bit annoying.
3) Both main and tail blade grips seem very sensitive to bolt tightness/weather.
4) Heli has developed a skid wobble in a hover at lower headspeeds.
5) LiFe receiver pack and AR7100R work great, pack has a very very flat voltage curve and the receiver rev limiter works great (now using clutch bell sensor and magnet arrangement).
