Your setup sounds almost identical to mine. I have BLS253 with 4 star output arms, balls on 13.5mm as manual, all rod lengths set with vernier as well (sadly anal about this).

+12/-12 is around 45% (same ish as yours) on swash mix, +7/-7 cyclic is around 50% (your probably pulling 8/9 deg) with expo function INH.

When tested with stock link lengths, everything lined up level in terms of the mixer arms, flybar cage, paddles, but with a few degrees of positive pitch instead of 0 deg.

Then put on +12 pitch and try pulling full elevator, and the links from the flybar cage to the lower mixing arms are jamming on swashplate - the swash is definitely too high.

When i built mine using the stock rod length in the book i got 0 degress at center stick, so if you are getting a slight positive pitch at center stick then by doing what you have done sounds about right. By lowering the swashplate and then adjusting the other rods accordingly.

What an idiot.

After many hours trying to understand why I had binding between lower mixers and swashplate, then lowering the swash and re-adjusting alomost everything - I have now put all the links back to stock, and with the magic press of a button in the transmitter all is absolutely fine.

Now radio is Spektrum DX7, anybody care to guess which function solves the problem instantly??

In the swash mix menu, turn EXPO from INH to ACT - what a difference, and how much time lost chasing my tail!!!
