Cheers dude lol yeah, u need to check them both, inside arm and out, or, i used some m3 bolts instead, giv it a good tightening and never worryed about it again, on the internal u must use a dome head m3, else it will hit the lock collar

Cut down N9 boom will transfer some weight to the back.

I am sure Pete had a trim issue.. in the end is was the centre bell crank Assembly had moved, it also happened again, but that was the outside 'I' crank.. he forgot to grind a flat on both of the set screws..

I can vouch for having to file flats on the grub screws...

I was pulling hard out of a loop when the heli decided to flip itself over on it's back
I managed to wrestle the heli back to the pits and upon inspection I could see the bell cranks had shifted. Took the grub screws out and filed flats on, never been a problem since.


I had a look at my N5 last night and it does balance slightly nose heavy didn't get time to look at the trim on the Tx but it isn't massive amounts

Cheers for the info, everything is tight and where it should be but i'll file flats just to be on the safe side. May try an N9 boom, I presume it must be thicker walled than the N5's ?

Only problem is I'm running 620's on cyclics. I recon sticking 7.4v thru em and it'll be magic smoke time !

610's on 7.4v or 8.0v are fine there are many guys running them like this. Not herd of any problems as of yet.

Mine was abit nose heavy too. I found if I mount the rx pack on top of the 3 cyclic servos it balances perfect. There is just enough room under the canopy to do this.

I have my gyro mounted out the back also.

I'm running a 2500 Outrage Rx pack.

I'm considering going to a 1300 Rx pack in the same location and then getting a lightweight QUK tail boom clamp (raptor 50 one is the same boom size) to get rid of the heavy N9 one used. Losing quite abit of weight overall but maintaining balance I hope!
