Shame about that mate, what happened.

I know this is off topic slightly but could you explain why theres fuel tubbing on the tail servo rod near the ball link?

I feel for you Phil. I did the same with my 600. Was in my garden about to do my maiden tracking flight and I stood on the canopy. I wasn't a happy bunny!

Slap a RCHeliAddicts sticker over it and it'll hardly be noticeable.

I'm guessing it's clear shrink, and it's used as a make certain that the servo arm doesn't unscrew and come apart device. I do the same with my 700 tail pushrod arm.

Oh and Phil I've found black nail varnish works real well at covering misshaps like that.

Ah man that's a pi$$er. I had a similar thing but not so bad, went and got my N5 out of the shop where it was being displayed while I waited for servos, on the way home it fell over in the car and the tail fin got caught in the gap between the folded seats and snapped the tail fin. Some expletives got shouted, only £7 but it's most annoying doing damage in the hangar. The fuel tube is probably to stop the carbon outer from vibrating on the metal inner rod.

It was stood on my tool box in front of my wardrobe, reached in to get a shirt out and knocked a big Olde Worlde wooden coat hanger down and that was the result

Fuel tube on the tail rod is to stop it rattling. I was going to glue it but decided to use fuel tube each end instead

Sat on my Velocity canopy a couple of months ago.

Was on the other halfs chair, so I picked it up and moved it on to mine as she would probably sit on it (on purpose! ).

...so I came back in and took a seat, unfortuantely my canopy wasn't as cushioning as I had wished for!

And that is why I leave my clothes all over the floor.

You could use permanent board markers - black, red, green etc for multicoloured canopy or bodywork.

I'm sure I'll find something to effect a temporary repair even if its just a couple of strategically placed stickers
