    My thrusts seem fine

Was a bit of a juggling job getting the bearings into the grips but all in now and feel smooth as the old babes bum

Just hoping I can find or get the bits I need...

Ian, once all the bearings are fitted to the grips, if they feel a little notchy then put them in the oven for 20 mins, then use something just to press them down lightly to ensure they are seated properly. You dont need any shims on the bell mixing arms, should fit just fine.

finally put 7 or 8 tanks through mine today, really like it

engine still rich (YS56) on 2 turns out so have a slight tail kick

also my one way bearing has locked solid so will need to take that to bits, what are people using to lubricate?

only thing I don't like is the landing skids, too narrow and the skids are weak I seem to of already bent one at the front and also have play where the skid attaches to the bow

other than that want to get out and fly it some more tomorrow

impressed with how axial it rolls

It's from QX in Austria. I've been using one on my FBL N9 with great success. A lighter and simpler design. I'm placing an order with them tonight so if anybody's interested just PM me.

              Hi Nick,

Martin(Sao) gave me the heads up on the locking one way so I've packed mine with grease, not sure what but something I had left over from my boating days

The skid set is definitely gonna be changed on mine pretty soon after it's built and it'd be nice to keep it Synergy.
It could be argued that the skids may be ever so slightly wider or taller than necessary but next to an N9 the N5 is pretty close in size and the skids look right at home on her. I got these skids on a N9 I had previously bought and recon they are dyed with automotive plastic dye.

Check that both bearings are fully seated in bell mixer. Once done the mixer will rotate freely.
