Don't get me wrong Grant, I'm really not having a go or anything, I appreciate everybodies informed opinions, and anything that can be improved upon in future kits can only be a good thing. Thankfully everything I've heard from owners so far have all been very minor easy to rectify quibbles, rather than failing parts, parts that don't fit etc etc.

I'll report back my findings on the new head setup tonight, as long as the weather holds out! I'm also still tuning the os, so the engine is far from perfect yet!

I was actually suprised that there weren't any major issues at all. The only time I got worried was when the tail locked up, but thats an easy fix which as you say will probably be put in the next batch manual anyway.

The only major issue I have had with mine was the one way sleeve locked up on the one way bearings! Didnt discover this until I had got home after 5-6 tanks running in very rich.
Had to hammer the sleeve out and re-grease it all.
As for agility I have mine on matts settings and it is quite quick, can I ask did you free off all the ball links on the head as a stiff set up could dull down the speed of response.

I reamed all the balls out and the move really nice and smoothly. I can twist the links on the balls with my finger without any problem.

I will go back and check my swash mixes and cyclic pitch tonight and let you know what it looks like.

Guy's, Paul (Raptorheli2) has put align skids on his and on Sunday he said he was glad he had because a couple of times he felt that if he hadn't he would have had a tip over! I think he said they went on quite easily but im sure he will confirm that himself!

I would be interested to see a picture with the Align skids on - sounds like a cheap way to do it

I guess thats the most important part at the end of the day - which is better...N5 or MA55?

I have never seen the new velocity, but I bet it's pretty good too. I dont believe all the hype people say about almost anything tbh - I only tend to believe what i've tried myself. That being the case - I would love to fly the velocity. I dont think I would change the N5 for it even if it did really outfly the N5. I've started to really like the looks of it, and it's so much different in style to anything else. Looks are half the reason of owning an expensive heli
