  • N5 Verdict ?

There must be a few of these flying now. What's the verdict on performance?

I've already posted some thoughts on the build thread but in short, it's a keeper I got 7 tanks through mine at the weekend, and while it does appear to need the engine tuning a lot more and then the governor engaging, so far so good. Very stable, very very smooth (the fuel in the tank is totally flat calm - vibe free), but yet the cyclics are very very fast; I will most likely dial mine down a bit, as i think with the headspeed up where it should be, it will be too quick!

I'm interested to hear how other owners are getting on though

      N5 Verdict ?

Mines not airbourne yet.......but...... From what i saw at yestaday, its dam fast, cyclicz on white aligns are stupidly fast, so fast that the stubz i have on mine might even be coming off!!!! Its very axial on the rolls, we had one doing stationary rolls, its rolled on the spot with no change of engine note, its planted there, big sky manuver its looked like it pulled thru with easy, didnt see any major corrections being made, afew minors coz of the wind, certainly has alot of pop to it aswel, i flew the prototype, its awesome, by far the best ive flown
Being non bias as i can, ive flown a velo, ely q (both version) trex 600 and the n5, for me, the n5 ticked all the boxes, velo was good but floaty, ely q was mad, but lacked something, 600.......eww
