Man just check the overall size of the heli against my Vibe 50, are they sure this shouldn't be called and N6 or even an N7 - it's about an inch taller and three inches longer.

What are the biggest blades it will run ok (using OS 55), and any suggestions on makes?

I got to test fly the one Shay spoke of, it tracks superbly and has a real smooth and locked in feeling. Down side was that the test subject has a s/hand engine which was a bit sick, so I never got to see what it could really do,although what I did see was enough to be very encouraged.

I have reamed my links very lightly with a home made reamer. I screwed and glued a spare synergy ball in to the handle of my glow plug driver, then crimped the head of it all around to rough the surface. Works a treat and isn't aggressive in removing material, just seems to ease the link open a touch. I'll take a pic tonight and post it up.

So that will be something else I need to order! A spare ball to cobble together as a reamer

Assuming my N5 actually ever gets here...

Check your tail pitch slider arm, When the bolts tightened down it does tend to lose some of its smoothness as the bearing gets pressed agaisnt the bracket. Putting a tiny washer between the bearing and the bracket will allow it to be tightened better.

Chopped a bit about the canopy off the end to get it short enough for youtube. It's still converting for HD but the quality is not bad at the moment.

                      How is the build going?

As you mentioned the washout base being abit tight as it gets nearer the headblock (binding on the washout pins). Mine is the same. The bend in the pins must be pretty small.

fwiw i was speaking with ash last night about this.

mine also jams at the top but it's not the pins. it's the same with the headblock removed. they have deformed mine when drilling the hole in the mast i suspect.

                        cheers

got the tail built, frames done and now working on the head but it's going to have to wait now as Mattie is off on holiday. It's quite a lengthy build, somewhat of a builders model.

Not hit any issues beyond those already mentioned.

Mine is free when I loosen the headblock jesus bolt but tightened up, the washout jams on the pins.

Looks like abit of wet n dry needed!
