Wanted to put this on youtube but the vid ended up just over 12 minutes long and youtube puked it up for being too much over their 10 minute limit

I may see if I can cut it down a bit as I'd like to get the full HD version on youtube.

Regarding the skids, jamiem kindly measured them at 160mm from centre of skid pipe to centre of skid pipe - this is a fair bit narrower than say Raptor or T600N, but similar to the latest version of the Vibe 50, so I guess time will tell.

i had a vibe 50. this is defo the narrowest. the vibe never struck me as it will tip over. this does, i maybe wrong.

i'll try a rex 600 UC on it shortly if i keep it.

I think you can see in this short video that we are really trying to give a non bias view of how we see this model. All the way through the build video I hope this comes across as well.

seeing an n5 up the field today, its amazing how light the heli still is with the head and everything being so beefy! It wasnt far off my 600n, was a bit heavier but what i seen of it flying sport, was very stable and still agile.

would be interesting to see what it is like doing hard 3d.

Skids are approx 1.5 inches narrower than the outrage, the frame is also a couple of mm slimmer.

What are the Outrage skid fixing holes between centres?

holes are wider on the outrage, so won't just bolt on

Don't know if anyone else had this problem but when I watched the video there was a couple of points where either the sound dropped out or the picture froze. One at 2.30ish when you were talking about the weak spot in the frame (that spot does look surprisingly narrow doesn't it?) and one at 4.40ish.

This spot does look narrow, but now we have built the frames up and there is much more strength around that area now.

I'll fix those dropouts, been having some issues with tapes on the camera, either dropping sound or picture when I capture it back to the PC. I missed those two issues, I'm pretty sure I've got footage to patch it up. For the main video we are cutting straight to PC and not using tapes so it won't be an issue.

Could someone kindly tell me what the overall length of the N5 is, from canopy nose to tail, and what the overall height is?
