It is pretty silly putting something so terrible in such a great kit. Free things aren't always good.... "Here you go sir have a nice can of with your new Ferrari" Huh!"WTF"

Does anyone have an online explanation of what effects altering the ball link positions in the head will have? Squeeky pete has told me to move the seesaw ball in to help speed it up, but it would be nice to have a read up on what can make it even quicker.
Aileron roll wasnt too bad, still very slow, but elevator flips are increadibly slow with the recomended botos settings. I also need to see how much I can lower the swash by. The swash is hitting the pins with very little cyclic and can even get it to hit its own mixer arms.
Have you measured the cyclic pitch you have set?
Do you have the CCPM swash travels for Ail and Elev set the same?
I find with 120 CCPM that you need different CCPM settings for ail and elev in the Tx to get the same swashplate deflection! Usually requiring more elev travel in the Tx to get the same swash deflection as the aileron direction, if I remember right.
Will be interested to know what you settle on in the end Grant
Was good to meet you yesterday, shame I never got past a couple of hovers with mine. But going to look after my new YS56 and get it broken in nice and slow
All I've got to do now is keep the Simmonds family off my Fury, I actually checked the boot of my car to make sure it was still there, lol
stefan asked if you would adopt him,not sure why

i agree with everything grant mentioned about the n5..looks good tho
cheers craig
I do have the same swash mix for both ail and elev. I have only every built and flown Aligns myself so its nice to have a completly different model.
What swash mix's are you running?

fyi on my 14mz mines are pitch 48, ail and elev are 42.
what paddles are people using? i've had to add weights to the align 12g paddles!!!! i've never ever had to slow down a heli before but it was very very pitchy in the wind.
I've got some edge paddles on mine with the weights but i have been moving the weights in and will probably eventually take them off entirely. I'm not running radix stick bangers though but some edge blades.
Somethijng sounds pretty strange on mine then! I am running 53% for both ail and elev and its sooooooooo slow! Pitch is at 58% and seems reasonable enough. I am using align white paddles - I always thought they were very slow on the 600.
I will measure pitch/cyclic tonight and post. I am running Quick UK metal servo wheels btw.
