      We will see

I've just hit my 1st snag and thats my throttle servo is a DS3500G and is not really going to fit well so I need to get either a 9650 or a 9257 from somewhere

I've got both in other models but I hate robbing Peter to pay Paul

Same problem here & i refuse to spend £60 quid on a throttle servo so went for one of these Fast Lad Performance
            Velocity 50
            Synergy N5
            Fury 55 FBL
            Trex 700

Thing that annoys me is that I kept back one of my DS3500's solely for the N5 throttle only to find it doesn't really fit

I'm sure I have something that will fit, it maybe cheaper and non digital but I really don't think I or my gov really need it!

I conveniently had to go with my Fiance to buy a new car for her yesterday, which cut massively into the build time - But it've got the frames complete, tail pretty much finished, liner and clutch stack in etc.
I messed around for abotu an hour though trying to sort out the metal tail grips....

The manual is a little vague, but so far i'm not too impressed with them. Everything has been put in correctly and in the right order, but when I tighten them up onto the hub they almost lock up. Both of them. I noticed 2 small washers in the with the metal grips, and I presume they were to replace the ones for the plastic grips (the M3 washer on the bolt) as the larger one already on locked the tail up straight away. The smaller washers made it a little better, and one side is actually not too bad. The other side though, If i put even a slight amount of pressure on the bolt the grip locks up?

                              How did you do yours?

Mine were perfect with the exact same configuration as the plastic grips, ie with the washer installed. Squeaky Pete phoned me the other day saying the same as you, so I spoke to Roger and advised to run without the washer on the bolt, and that Matt would update the manual and post a tip about it on his site. I have since removed mine and run 7 tanks through it like this with no I'll effect and a rock solid tail
