Jamie, ( or anyone else currently building) ,
have you fitted the engine to the mounts yet? if not any chance you could measure the thickness of the engine spacer plates (606-305). Mine are missing from the kit ( or really well hidden!!) so i can make something to replace them.
Cheers
Phil

Mine are already fitted sorry. I think they were in the fan shroud packet. They are very very thin, maybe 0.5mm. In all honesty I think you could easily get away without using them as there is a bit of rocking movement available on the engine before you tighten it up.
Just about to add some more pictures

my build is coming on just about to attach the boom
issues I've had so far are:
- 1 grub screw on tail pulley already stripped before I got to it. Will have to hope sufficiently loctited as won't be able to get out, will need new tail pulley and shaft once spares in country for peace of mind
- control ball threads on elevator outer bellcrank were slightly scrapping on frames so had to dremel down slightly
- not sure about using CA to hold threaded rod in tail control rod, I know this is the same as the N9. One end held, the other didn't, going to use 30 min epoxy I think
- clutch was tight once I had glued the liner in, appears to be catching somewhere slightly. Used one wrap of tape. Will grab slightly for the first few flights then I'm sure will bed in
- I found the inner washer on the tail thrust bearings were a tight fit in the metal grips, need to be careful they don't end up notchy
- tip - when glueing in gov magnet make sure it does not stand too proud as it will foul the frames if not careful
all in all, happy so far with the build

CCPM Cyclic bellcranks fitted - all balls locktited from factory but needed a slight tweak to tighten them up. Also added a second grub screw to the elevator bell crank as the hole was there.

Tail box out of the packet

Seriously chunky tail belt!

Tail pulley and pitch links. Note the pitch link pin with one e-clip fitted, and an enlarged opposite end. The e-clip has a groove to fit in to - an improvement on the N9 making assembly much easier.

Metal tail grips fitted. Bearings were a PERFECT fit, no play, but needed just a little pushing in with a nut driver. Very nice finish. Also note I've epoxyed the lock ring on the pitch slider in to place.

Tail boom assembly complete

Tail boom fitted

Boom Supports fitted - ends epoxyed on.
