Kits are winging their way to the UK as I write this, it won't be long! Hopefully customs won't hang on to them for too long and we can all have our pre-ordered kits very very soon

I see the recommended tail blades are between 85-92mm, there will be a rush on 92mm carbon tails then....lol

Will the extra 6mm on a set of 95mm blades really make such a big difference?

          Can it run with 95's?

It says if you do the warrenty is invalid, raptor 50's run 92mm so see no reason why not to, there is such a thing as over powering the tail, had that on my outrage 550 running 92mm as i could not find 85mm tails, but changed them in the end and was alot better

Looks like a nice build, buut why on earth are they still using that pressed on clip thingy to secure the tail slider bushing?

I can honestly say it's never caused me any problems on my N9's, unlike the theaded sleeve on many aligns I've seen fail (not starting any brand bashing wars!). That's not to say there may be a better way of doing it, just it's been fine for me I have always run a bead of epoxy over it after though, just as a precautionary measure. I'm not sure if the n5 has a locating groove for the lock washer or not though, i've not looked in enough detail, I'll see if I can find out.

Never had an issue with the locking ring method, although i did change the kit supplied locking ring on my N9 to a better quality one. Some of the original ones supplied with N9 kits were hit and miss whether they would make a good secure lock on the bushing. They should lock into place without any assistance from glue or locking adhesives.

Looking at the part number it is the same locking washer used on the N9 but they may have kept the part number but replaced with a better quality locking washer.

I have some locking washers here for when the kits turn up so if required i will replace if needed.

This method of locking the slider assembly is a proven method though and has been used on X-Cell's for years without issues, it all boils down to the type of locking ring used.
                        Thanks!

Yes, was brought up on here also interestingly Ade999 said 92mm blades were not as good as when he switched to 95mm's in that thread.

                            Take a looksy
