was the one at charmouth a metal version?

word is you will get all plastic head/tail initially with some sort of SE kit/upgrades for the metal.

anyone know if thats the case?

It is indeed.

The one that I flew at Charmouth has plastic mains, tails and main bearing blocks, as per the retail kit. There will be an "SE" upgrade package containing metal versions of these should you wish to be bling

EDIT: And the SE bits should be available at the release of the model

Understandable I do know that some of the common parts are going to be sold in packs of 2 or 3, which should help with pricing

it does look a nice heli. i said i wouldn't get one but i like synergys, miss my 90's now and then.

i'm going to get a velocity aswell all going well........AGAIN.

when are these synergys due?
