You won't be disapointed if you go for a 6S setup, and if you have the packs already then it makes sense to go this route.

As Rossco said, 6s on the E5 is great. I run mine with a Scorpion 4025-1100 on 5000mah packs and it's great. Certainly not lacking in power and everything comes down just warm, perfect. I'm tempted by 12s, but it's great as it is and only one pack to charge at the field.

Yeah a great flyer for a dumb thumber(like me).lol. I looked into 10s but cant bring myself to send that much extra cash for the expensive thunder power packs. 6s be just fine
