Goblin 700 will it hover on 3000mah batteries

Hi All,
Been away from my helis for a few years. Got stuck in another country over Covid. Anyway finally managed to import my helis back to NZ. The batteries in my Ver 1 Goblin 700 were at the end of there life 3 years ago and couldn't ship anyway. So also got a Trex 500 with 2 new 3000 mah 6s 100c decent quality lipos. Until I can get some new lipos for the Goblin do you think the 2 x 3000 mah lipos will be enough for some hovering around? Just finished reassembling the Goblin and was keen to " Re maiden it "
I was only sport / very mild 3D flying 3 years ago so wont be doing anything hard. Very much a novice and just started relearning everything. Just be nice to get it in the air even if only for a few short flights.
Seems not so easy to find decent 6s 5000mah lipos in NZ so if anyone got any tips on that would also be appreciated.

[SIZE=14px][FONT=Arial]Yes, it will definitely fly on a pair of 3000mah packs. When you're just hovering or doing circuits and gentle flying, it will pull surprisingly low amps. If those packs are new, I think you'll find you can do just about any moves you did before on bigger packs, just with shorter flight times.

I don't know how far forward you can get them in order to balance well, but from just a power standpoint it should be fine.[/FONT][/SIZE]

Yeah thought that would be the case. Might have to add a little nose weight to get it to balance. Be happy to see it back in the air after nearly 4 years.
