  • My petrol Robbe, kinda hate to see it go

Recently I really had to do a bit of a clear out as I have accumulated way too much heli stuff. So I decided to part with the first Robbe I got, a Futura SE converted to petrol with a Zenoah G23 engine.

I have hardly flown it and it has sat on the shelf for a long time so realistically it should be flown and enjoyed rather than sit idle.

It's more of a gentle cruiser than an aerobatic heli but it could probably be made to do basic aero stuff.

Anyway, I am just getting it put back together for the prospective buyer and I took some pics yesterday when the sun came out. I can't help but think, damn it looks good! I still need to put a gyro and tail servo, new damper o-rings, a regulator and fit my RX for testing. If the buyer changes his mind I'll probably keep it now

Yeah the Hirobo metal heads are very nicely finished.

Here's one of the stock Sceadu heads I have. These pics don't look great due to the flash but you can see the basic design anyway.

I still have a Futura SE nitro and a Dyna-X and I have to say, I think the Dyna-X is probably the best flying heli I own bar none, it's totally precise and just does exactly what you ask with no bad behaviour of its own. At the moment it's certainly the best mannered flybarred heli I have.
