        Hi,

I installed the RJX FBL head and flew with a Mikado vBar 4. I never flew the 2009 much due to the main gears stripping every outing.

FBL's do fly different and take a little getting used to. However, after a few flights, you'll love the difference. There's no looking back

Sorry, meant Enya No 5 (DOH - Looking at OS engine at moment - must be on the brain)

Plugs are trial and error but it should be OK with 15% Rapicon. I was using 20% so not a huge difference.

I did shim up though. Would suggest going to 0.4mm with 15% - you'll find it runs smoother with no loss of power.

                Cheers

ok thanks, i was not sure on plugs as i have always used os 8 in the past, i was looking at align 5 or 4 not sure though, i have not changed the shims as it said not to for 15% so not sure what the mm is, do you have to shim for higher nitro?

                  thanks again

Found that after running-in, a lower compression really helped the engine. My pal runs 0.6mm with 20% Rapicon and it's a real animal - not lost any power but runs so much better.

                    Good Luck
