.... Joking aside, maybe i misjudged the experience of the op. I certainly did not wish to offend anyone or their ability in what i was saying. Was more friendly advice on a common problem i see a lot of people have. But people of lesser experience shall we say. You get what i'm saying anywayTo get back to the op's question(s). IMO, If you are a novice 14 degrees is too much and you will be making life harder for yourself. If you are an experienced and competent pilot 14 degrees will be fine. Forgive my ignorance for not knowing which category you fall into
