ENV swashplate

ENV swashplate

I have an excessive amount of play between the two halves of my swash plate. Looking at the underside of the swash plate it looks as if you can tighten the ring that holds it all together.
Is this all i need to do or is there something else going on here?
The ring is stuck solid and i cant imagine that it has worked loose as ill need to get some heat on it to move it.
anyone had this happen and is it fixable or is a new swashplate needed?

Hi Tony
Both mine were the same and i have seen others aswell.
I couldnt tighten mine up, so i used a block of wood to rest it on and carefully placed a straight screwdriver tip on the lip.Gave it a knock every couple of milimeters around the edge just curling it over enough to take up the slack.Works a treat and is perminent.

Sound like im going to have to do the same andy, i cant shift mine either and theres no stock for a new one.

It just needs tightening up, I used some internal cir-clip pliers to tighten mine and its solid now with zero play!
