A favour from a Rave 450 owner

Hi Guys and Gals,

Does anyone here have a Rave 450 and could do me a huge favour. Even better if you have a healthy pile of spares.

I'm after some measurements of a few bits, one thing is the length of the boom which might be interesting unless you have a spare one handy. But I could do with a couple of other measurements too

I haven't got a spare boom handy, I could probably give a good estimate of length, but I'm guessing you want an exact measurement.

What other measurements are you after??

Hi Martin,

An estimate is a start mate, gets me a bit closer to knowing. I was after the torque tube length as well which will also be difficult if you don't have a spare

One other measurement was the length of the boom supports between the screw centres. That one doesn't have to be exact so easy measured on the heli

As above mate, measurements I need right now are

Boom length ( boom diameter if you have that too )
Torque tube length
Boom support length.

Boom length approx 400mm
TT a litttle bit longer sorry!!
Supports 280mm

Boom length is 409mm dia is 13mm
Torque tube is 391mm including metal ends
Boom supports are 282mm between centres

The tube is 5mm which the bearing sits on and the metal ends are 7mm dia
