Odd request for a measurment.

Just a thought, could someone with a Rave Env please measure the diameter of the tail boom please? And also how thick the tail control bar is?

The reason for asking is I'm wanting to see if the control arm guides will fit a 600esp. They screw down rather than bodging something to keep them held in place.

Shouldn't need to bodge them on a 600, just hold them in place, put a small cable tie under one, pull it through then trim it off, should hold it firmly in place.

Yeah but it's still a bit of a bodge. Having them tighten with a screw is neater

I like to improve things to make them look neater. Which is why I run Rave 450 gears in my TT360. Because I'm a tart and they're black

Using a tie wrap is fine pete and a standard way of doing it, that's how all of mine are done

James, without wishing to sound stupid, do you just wrap the tie around like you would use it normally then?

Just push the cable tie through at the top between the boom & the guide then trim it, it works a treat on my heli's

I put them under the to of the guide,and then do them up so the locking part is on top, so in a cras repair it is easy to cut one side and you can then pull it out easy

OK well all I have to do now is work out where I can fit all the electronics and everything is set

a couple of spots of ca top and bottom will hold them in place and will just break off with a little twist for any repairs. as neat as it gets!
