no they are not and for some reason CY has pulled away from the biggest company in the uk , and put all his eggs into one basket (fast lads which is owned by a heli 3d champ and that was his nick name cant remember his real name but also has a big USA shop ) and yes radex are very good blades and so is most of the cy producks and as some one already said in the long run ,well more fool him

been a long day and just looked at the big pile of rc mags , he was about 2005/6 its bugging me now but any way the guy was nicked named fast lad hence his shopes
Dude the first paragraph says that he got the name drag racing motorbikes, it had nothing to do with heli's . I don't use Radix or any othe CYE products but if i did i can see why people would be peeved!

Climbout are not going out of business.

They distribute many top brands to the whole uk model trade and I am sure they are always on the hunt for more.

My concern is that FLP distribution is not a independent company unlike Climbout.

Also I have received excellent support from Climbout so am sad to see CY products move distributer which I am sure will have a effect as already there are rumours of less shops stocking CY products which can only be a bad thing.

Ade and I were as surprised as anyone, and have enjoyed representing the brand here. It's not appropriate for us to go in to any commercial detail regarding the change over but suffice to say we were slightly bewildered by the turn of events.

Anyway, whilst it is certainly a challenging time for ourselves and many of our dealers, we are certainly not going out of business and have some exciting new developments planned in the coming months. Our new website is ready to go and is just in the process of being tested to make sure it is all working.

We look forward to catching up with many of you throughout the year and let's hope this recent spell of good weather continues for the rest of the summer - happy flying!

                All the best, Roger.

I really need some help on my ENV.. The bloody one way bearing in my main gear has gone, ALREADY, after about 50 ish flights and only 10/12 of those were proper 3D flights. I'm seriously ****ed off with it now as its been problem after problem and i don't see why i have to pay 60 odd quid to replace a part which hasn't done its job.. So where do I moan to now, climb out or fast-lad or am I left without any support?

Regardless of who the distributor is you go back to your retailer first so nothing has changed there.

Just out of curiosity, what did you use to lubricate the bearing when you build the model?

                          HI 3d bish,

I would agree with what Dav20043 says.

Its highly unlikely that the sprag has failed and much more likely that the steel liner is slipping in the main aluminium housing.

Did you remove it and loctite it when you built the kit? What loctite did you use?

You need to heat the hub in the oven like a engine bearing to remove the steel liner. If its been slipping you will see the marks.

To repair and ensure it will not move, clean all surfaces to be bonded, heat ali housing, use 648 loctite and reassemble. Leave overnight to go off and it won't move again.

Brian from NextD recommend to me to use 648 loctite on it. It won't budge after that

Im trying to buy less from FL now tbh.

The parts to repair my 700 came from my LHS instead, just had to wait a day to get them ordered in.

Most places are cheaper, but you can guarantee FL will have everything you need.

Yes I have found that other places are cheaper and I am looking support other hobby stores more now with my business if they offer good serviice and price.

Also have had a few flying buddies who have recently had problems with orders from FL. A big order sent to the wrong address with trouble getting a reorder and unauthorised charges on a card just a few of the issues.
