  • Climbout No Longer The Distributer Of CY Products!!!!!!

    Hi All,

I feel I have to voice my concern. I am no cheerleader, but feel I have to make this point

I have just recently learn't that Climbout are no longer the distributers Of Curtis Youngblood products.

I must say that I am very very surprised by this development.

Ade and Roger have always shown a passion and enthusiasm towards their customers and products that is hard to rival.

I have had the pleasure to deal with them on the rare instances that I have had problems and all I can only say is that I have been shown support that has exceeded my expectations.

I know Curtis may have his commercial reasons but as a customer all I can say is the service I have received from Climb Out made me feel more confident in buying the Rave.

    Cheers

Very surprised Roger and Ade have done a tremendous job of promoting and supporting CY products along with many others they bring into the UK.
    Cheers

Looks like the sentiment is widespread and I am part of a majority.

Curtis is being a little short sighted on this score.

One would assume there will be a typical Fast Lad price increase in the not too distant future then LOL

Let's see how many shops are still carrying CY products in 6 months time ...

Can't really see the issue myself!!, CY products are still going to ge available and probably more readily available too!!

The true story will probably never ever be heard just rumour and who are we to judge Curtis for deciding what's best for his business to cease dealing with Climbout and appoint somebody else as the distributor!! .. Which looks like it is Fast-Lad Dstribution at the point in time.

                    Just my opinion guys!
                    Happy Flying! Thanks - Dave

Apparently Tony "Spin" blades fly alot like radix m8e ....

As for CY moving distributers then at the end of the day its upto them but I think there might be issues with other shops stocking there kits/bits now ... oh well....

The products certainly won't be more readily available! Take a look at the FLP Distribution T&C's. Most small shops that currently stock the products will never keep up with their terms, and I know a lot won't buy from them, just because of who it is.

I'm sure CYE has their reasons, but this is a very bad move long term!

I am with synergyman fastlads IMHO are an excellent supplier from a simple customers point of view so I couldn't care less who is the importer as long as it's available somewhere.

If enough people want to buy Curtis products then the supply of them will stay strong,if people go off of buying them then the brand may die but that's hardly fastlads fault is it.

Good luck to FL with this I say.

Climbout were genuinely interested and motivated to encourage multiple outlets to carry the CYE products including Fast Lad.

What you will see now is a reduction in the places you can buy the products, a drop in any possibility of price competition to the point where there will be just one place to buy.

An effective monopoly is never good for consumers.
