  • So who's bought a Rave 90ENV and what do you think ??

Pretty obvious thread from the title. Who has bought one and what do you think of the build quality, flying characteristics, etc etc.

I'm sort of holding out for a 50 size version, but I am tempted by the 90 too.

Lets have some serious feedback guys.

I'd be interested in this too. Seems to be very quiet for a new model?

I don't think its all that suprising TBH, large electrics still aren't all that popular, they're still expensive to get it the air initially with needing at least 6 -6 cell batteries, big chargers and then even a genny for the field. And flight times are shorter than the same heli in nitro form,

There's very few posts on here about the Aurora E from people who actually own one, and there's no doubt that they're going to be a good machine ,Theres not really many on the 700e. I imagine it'll be the same for the kasama E when that comes out, or has it already I don't really know?

Anyway, my ENV went together without any trouble, kit quality is very good, I really like the way the heli looks in the air, it looks bigger than a 700 say and has a real presence in the air, it's the first 90e I've had and being a new build first flights at the weekend were relatively sedate, also I've fitted the total g so that's another unknown but so far I'm very impressed, it's easy to set up and worked well out of the box. I just need to get it set to the way I want it before I really start pushing.

One thing I will say is that the power is awesome

Lets have a few pictures of your Rave ENV in the air. I'm seriously thinking of getting the same machine although I was originally going to hold out for a 50 size version some time next year. Can you let us know what motor, ESC and battery packs you'll be using ??

                Thanks
