Rave 90 env head speed

Hello everyone out their, just wondering what head speeds you lot are running on your raves with os105 HZ-r.

idle up wise 1950, is properly nice, with 105 power.

+1 on Brian above. Run my ENV's wether YS120, OS105 or 91 powered around 1850/1900 in idle 1 and 1980/2050 in idle 2. Proper lively in idle 2 but also has bads of power at 1900.

Just for your info though both my ENV's now have OS105 HZR's.

now I cant remember the gear ratio of the Rave, but I have been flying the G4 raptor a lot and the one thing I found is that engine likes to rev, so I would go for 2050 rpmk on the head especially if you fly hard 3D

Here's the science, 15000rpm max torque, 8.12 gear ratio so 15000/8.12= 1847 now run it a bit higher so under load it sags in to the max torque so 1950 makes sense. Max rpm is 16500 so 2040rpm.

Also just wondered if the stock .02 mm shim is fine for opti 20%.

Stock shim is fine works well on mine and G's with Opti 20.
