Who has a Rave 90 ENV and fancies a trip to Essex ??

I'd really like to invite someone who owns a Rave 90 ENV down to our club in Essex as my guest one Saturday or Sunday morning, as I'd like to have the chance to discuss the pro's and con's of the machine and have a guided look around one by someone who knows them well. (Perhaps a job for Rachel ??)

Have a coffee and a few flights and talk heli

Thanks so much for the invite I would say yes without hesitation but the fuel costs on top of my increasing heli expenditure budget are just to much

You would be more than welcome to pop down to my club (about 15 mls miles north of birmingham) and see a rave in action but hopefully some one closer will answer your plea.

In a nutshell ? would I buy another ????? hell yes its way above a rex 700 , top build manual ,top quality ,top ease of maintenance.
Parts will get more availible and are not bad prices.

Only a few options really obviously electric or nitro,

but the big one is flybared or flybarless ??????????

If you are unsure buy the flybared kit & the flybarless parts.

for me
Flybared = sports flyer + mild 3D (flips etc)

Flybarless does the book. (as will flybared its just slower in the cyclics)

I have lots to say have you seen my build notes ? on here.

Oh Total G is fab but most are scared off by poor instructions but I love it I now have Total G on mny Vibe & Rexy My t rex 700.

Any advice you need just ask.

Just like you I'm a sports flyer but with a big interest in F3C type flying.

I've been a JR pilot for lots of years now, and I currently own a Vibe 90SG which has only just been converted to electric and flybarless (BeastX) and this is my number one machine. Love it to bits !!

I also have a T-Rex 500 and like you, a Vibe 50 and both of these machines are flybarless with a BeastX unit.

I was kind of hoping that we would see a 50 size version of the Rave ENV sometime soon as I was intending to replace my Vibe 50 with such a machine but I'm not sure that this will happen now.

I really like the look of the Rave, and as I currently have a YS 91 engine, hatori exhaust, Radix main blades etc taken from my Vibe SG when it was in nitro form, perhaps the 90 ENV is the way for me to go as a replacement for my Vibe 50.

There is'nt currently another 50 size heli out there that I would want to buy to replace my Vibe 50 as it flies beautifully and its never been crashed in the three or so years that I've owned it. Hence my considering an ENV.
