Received my rave from lee (3dbasher) today, thank u very muchly!!! Was very well packed, defo werent getting bashed in the post lol

never built up a broken dwn, packed up in a box rave before, was nice and simple to do, must say its a dam big 450 lol its like near on a 500 size, or not that far off it lol and its very very light, im soooooo gonna have fun with this one, its defo for me lol

Theres not much even to moan about, screws are all good, went together very nice, cant wait to get it up and running, just a tail servo and gyro need to finish off the build, then when i get some cash get some pack, gonna go for the loong max tipple batts me thinks, 2250mah jobbys will do, am using the next d 325mm blades for now Nd the scorpy motor

Did 6 batteries through mine today and I'm loving it, expecting some rhino lipo's from HK soon too so I'll be able to get more action out of it!

The Rave really is a great little heli the smoothest flying 450 i've owned. Im running mine on 6s now which is in my opinion the best set up with the 350mm blades.
You may find its a bit slow on the cyclics with the standared paddles.

What paddles you got Leo? Stubz? I just got some radix tail blades last week and just today upped the voltage on my cyclic servo to speed them up a little but new paddles are next.

I have got stuz on it and they make it a handful. My friend has got trex 450 pro carbon paddles and flybar on his rave and reckons its the best set up he's found so far. Which im going to try soon.

Even with the weights right out? And what the advantage of running 6's??

To be honest i never tried it with the weights as was given the paddles and didnt have the weights with them. Just find with 6s your not drawing as many amps being higher voltage. im getting 5 1/2 minutes easy of mild 3d flying.

Im getting 5mins of sport flying with my 4s 2200 hyperions 35c, usually putting 1650mah back the cell voltage end up at 3.74 most of the time, I dont flick the timer until Im off the deck and obviously landing comes after my time up beeps.

Hey Leo when you say your mate found the the trex flybar and paddles were the best combo he has tried , well has he tried the stubz with the weights in?
