I built the airframe in april and cant remember if the angle is normal. Seems to hover ok although I havent flown it yet.

I doubt that is right.
Helis work on 90 degrees....servos, links, arms etc. That includes booms.
Either rotate the tail housing or the boom till level.
Thatis unless someone knows that model and says it's to compensate for some type of interaction.

No it's not right at all, It should be 90 deg,
check the locator pin is right on the tail end and the slot at the body end are both correctly positionedPaul.
