Joined the Rave club!

I have been promising myself one of these since they came out as it's the only small electric that really "looked the part" to me.

Well seeing as it's my Birthday next week I coudn't wait any longer and have abused the plastic!

Set up is:

Rave 3S
Radix 350mm blades
Scorpion S/C
Align DS410 Cyclic servos
Align DS520 Tail servo
Zippy 3S 2200 Lipo
Futaba R617FS 2.4ghz Receiver
Solid G Gyro (to be replaced by Mini-G when available..)

The box of bits turned up at work this lunch time.. and within 4 hours of getting home I had a near complete model sitting infront of me!

Just been ordering last few bits from Midlands.. and maybe get a test flight at the weekend!

Nice one mate, love mine still, not as precise as the 450pro or beam, but love the fact it is physicaly bigger than the other 450's on the market, hangs so well on the 350 blades too

Looking good. I just got the basic kit too. Don't know if its best to go 3S or 4S but i do fancy using 350mm blades

I must confess I like the look of the Rave over the other 450's

Well the kit has gone together great.. it's taken me 6 hours from box of parts to a finished model just waiting for tail servo and speed controller.

Hmm.. I'm sure it should have taken longer.. what is it I've forgotten?!..

Erm... Well it looks right.. and if it looks right it should fly right in my books!

well your doing a lot better than me I started mine in april and still not got airbourne, Im short of an esc, mini G and a battery, I think Im going to sell my blade to fund the parts
