  • Not far off now.

Nearly finished my airframe so I thought Id throw on the blades and the canopy and take a few pics.

Got some JR285's for cyclics coming from Grieg, and Ive yet to order any other electronics yet. Im thinking of a spartan/9257 combo on the tail, not sure of esc or batteries though . Its running with a -10 scorpion motor for 4's with 350mm main blades.

    Shall I get a AR6250
Spektrum's full range AR6250 DSM2 6-channel receiver is designed for carbon fiber fuselage installations.
or is a AR6100(e) / AR6200 going to be ok?

    Nice mate.
Still think the rave is the best looking 450 out there.
Just got back from the park with mine, great fun heli and i sure you will love it, just chuck some 35c batts at it and it has so much power it is unreal

If you've got the money, go for the full range rx over the parkflyer - just for the peace of mind. 6250 or 6200 will be fine.

what are you using? tbh I have no idea what size 4's battery is required.

I am running a 3S set up but running a -6 motor and 350mm blades using 2200mah qverlander extremme packs.
They now do 2500 packs and i would say if you could afford it go that route as i only get 3 mins 3d flying with the 2200's.
And i agree go for a 6200 rx.
I love my Rave, might not be as locked in as the new 450pro or as accurate as a beam but has so much pitch punch and hang it feels more like a 500 on acid, i find my self practicing things you just shouldn't on a 450 i.e. big autos
