So moving on then
The kit shows one grub screw to secure the mast locking collar, however I used one out of the spares bag to even up the locking pressure on the collar. This squares up the mast locking collar to the main shaft and helps prevent any binding of the top bearing

Did you find that the 2 grub screws eliminated the binding completely? Im just struggling a little here is get it to spin completely free and without any up/down play even with 2 grub screws.

Yes, I found that if I tightened these grub screws evenly I managed to eliminate all the binding on the top mast bearing.
