good to see it's another one that can swing 350mm blades like the Outrage.....it's the way forward for 450s, makes them fly like they are a lot bigger.

Any word on the release date yet? or a UK price, I see they are going to be $510 so I would guess about £300?

Shame they have gone for the 3S setups after the 6S HV setup on the outrage I'm not keen to go back to low flight times. Any idea what size the main gear is on the Rave?

Interesting, so it might be possible to run an outrage 1700Kv motor on it to get back to 6S HV set ups

Well, it's been a while coming, but I finally got a flight vid today on the Rave.
The headspeed on this flight was a little low but I put that down to the fact that I'm just running the new Outrage 3S 2200 30C pack in at the moment - this is it's 3rd flight...

Thanks to Droid for the tip on moving the tail servo so the upper mount is removed and you use the tail boom clamp bolt as the top mounting instead. My pushrod was a tad short for the Align DS520 tail servo, so I was grounded for a while!

The Align RCE600 gyro is working pretty well but I did have to dial a little expo in on the rudder channel to remove the twitchyness. The gyro does a good job overall with a gain setting around 38 on my DX7.

This heli is now fitted with a Scorpion Commander 55 amp ESC.

Little dissapointed we didnt get a blade scrape but all in all that was excellent.
