  • Looks like I'm finally getting one (hopefully)

Yesterday I got an email from RC Japan and their special of the week was a massive discount on the Next-D Rave 450. I always wanted one but for whatever reason just never got round to getting one. It looks like now I finally will. I tried to buy two kits but it appears there was only one in stock at the time. I got a message this morning that it is dispatched so hopefully will be here in a week or so.

Used own a TRex 450 years ago that was great fun, but find that size too small now (eyesight, along with rest of body slowly giving up )

I love RC Japan. It's like getting a 50% discount coupon from other shops.

      Enjoy

It arrived today. I got the VAT / clearance fee invoice from Parcelforce last week, no surprises, it was what I expected. So the total cost ends up at something like £120.00, which is very cheap for this kit. This is the combo kit that includes blades, but they're 325s and it can run up to 350s so I'll see what my options are. It will probably be 6s. This is the flybarred head but I'll convert it to FBL. Anyway, I'm in no rush to build it and I'll start slowly gathering electrics.

Was looking at the Hirobo SST-Eagle3. That is like £1700 on RC Japan. What's that all about?
