just clocked this on fastlad website-

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Around 650usd + local taxes for CF kits with OUTRAGE muffler and Canomod canopy, 570usd + local taxes for G10 kits with OUTRAGE muffler and canopy. All kits have no blades.

that puts the CF one with a canomod canopy circa £440 and the other about £400

oh, just for comparison a trex 600 pro kit is £299 or a super pro is £449. i'm not sure which is the better comparison. probably the super pro i'd guess without knowing specifics.

I hadn't received this info, so checked with Outrage and they said that both the info and prices are not correct and this info is definitely not released. So not sure what to make of this.

i can only assume someone gave it to fastlad so someone somewhere is confused, including me!

I suspect the info has probably leaked out of Outrage somewhere but I'm being told neither prices nor kit content is finalised, so I guess there is some element of reality in here BUT it could easily end up being different to what Fastlad have published.

Dammit - with the thread title being N50 I thought this was pricing for the imminent Synergy N50 but no...its all about the Outrage Velocity 50. Still, would be good to know the V50 () pricing, and how it compares to a 600NSP.

Chris, I asked the owner of Outrage and PrestigeRC today over MSN, his view was that there is no finalisation on this at this point. Guess your info is out of date

pre-production kits haven't gone out yet.

Done some digging on the pricing and Outrage are indeed putting out the Q&A info published on Fastlads site, so you can use that info as rough guide price.

Chris, sorry but given the info coming from Steve I had little choice but to place an air of doubt around the pricing and kit content, it seems he wasn't aware that info was going out at this point in time.

OK guys...

This is the Official, "unofficial and subject to change" release from Outrage RC about the Velocity 50.

It is the same info I sent to Fast Lad last week when they asked me for info about the Velocity 50, this info has not changed as of today...and is VERY generic as it was meant to be!

Please note that our OUTRAGE 50N will be changed to Velocity 50 (not 50N)

We will have Velocity 50 and Velocity 90 as our nitro helicopters under OUTRAGE RC.

Q: When will Velocity 50 released?
A: Tentative release date will be end of July but may change.

Q: How much does it cost?

Q: Can we pre-order?
A: Not now but very soon.

The question about "pre-order"...there is NO official pre-order yet through our distributor "Prestige RC"...but we are not restricting dealers from setting up pre-order links for their customers if they so desire...BUT the dealers do know that Price, Release Date, Kit Content, Canopy Paint Scheme, available Frame Material are ALL subject to change prior to the official release date from Outrage RC.

Our main Distributor "Prestige RC" will keep their dealers (US and International) informed about any changes in the Velocity 50 as we get closer to the release date...

I am very sorry if this information was misunderstood by anyone reading earlier posts from this thread. Everyone at Outrage knew that this info was very generic and was given out to allow some info to be given to dealers and customers that contacted us for info about the new Outrage Nitro.
