  • G5 Landing gear

    Evening all...,

Just after some help regarding the landing gear for the G5...., ive spotted the spares on the fast lads site and from what i can see, you need to buy 2 skids and 2 skid mounting brackets... Can anyone tell me the width of the lugs on these brackets namely the lug that bolts to the side of the main frame....? As you have probably gathered im not looking at fitting them to a G5 [ financies wouldnt allow for a G5 as a first heli ] Also how strong are they as my landings arent that smooth yet..?

I dont mind a bit of altering to make them fit as i enjoy that side of owning a heli and the G5 skids do look the part and far better than any other gear ive seen to date....

    Thanks in advance.....

It's 50mm between the frames, if that's what you mean.

IME, G5s are good first (outdoor) helis...

Sorry to ask daft questions but sadley fast lads is a good few hours drive from me and i dont want to order bits that wont fit...???
